NIC Ladakh conducts 4-Days Workshop on Internet/Email and Office Digitization: Implementation of e-Office
NIC Ladakh conducted 4 days workshop on basics of computer,
Internet & E-mail and eOffice to the Ladakh Police Department in
collaboration with IT Department Ladakh for “Implementation of e-
Office for Inter & Intra-office file movement.”
The workshop was organized under the esteemed guidance of Sh.
Amit Sharma, IAS, Secretary IT, Ladakh, Sh. SJ Mahmood, IPS, DIG
Ladakh, Sh. Mohd Rouf Wani, SIO, NIC Ladakh, Sh. Punchok Paldan,
Director (IT), NIC Ladakh who aimed at enhancing and modernizing
administrative processes within Ladakh Police force. A total of over 40
Police personnels were imparted training on the working of e-Office.
The training sessions were conducted by Sh. Showkat Ali,
Scientist-B, along with Sh. Sajjad Hussain, IT Manager, IT Department
Ladakh supported by Sh. Jigmet Singay and Sh. Stanzin Thayas,
Technical Staff, NIC Ladakh.
The training schedule included separate hands-on sessions and
self-practice sessions on all the four days on the directions of the SIO,
NIC Ladakh.
The e-Office division of NIC HQ Delhi created adequate number of
dummy accounts on https://training.eoffice.gov.in/ instance for the
participants that could make the hands-on training successful.
Around 45 participants including senior officers, jawans, dealing
hands and clerical staff of Ladakh Police (including District Leh and
District Kargil) have attended the training programme.
