On the 31st October 2023, NIC Ladakh UT observed Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day), a day dedicated to celebrating the birth anniversary of the great leader Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
Following the pledge-taking ceremony, officers of NIC Ladakh actively participated in the “Run for Unity” event flagged off by Sh. Mohammad Rauf Wani, SIO Ladakh. The run commenced from Shanti Stupa to Leh main market, covering a distance of approximately 4 kilometers.
The observance on Rashtriya Ekta Diwas in Ladakh UT, along with the rest of the country, serves as a reminder of the nation’s shared responsibility to work towards a harmonious and united India, inspired by the principles and legacy of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
